Biography
Dr. Neelam Doshi is Associate Professor of Pathology at Bond University, Australia. After completing medical school and Doctor of Medicine in General Pathology at Maharaja Sayajirao University Vadodara India in 1995, I did my resident training as a Clinical Microbiologist/Virologist in Manchester Deanery, UK. I attained my fellowship with Royal College of Pathologists (London, UK) and RCPA (Australasia) in 2008 and 2012 respectively. I have worked as a private pathologist in India, Saudi Arabia and as a General Practitioner with Indian Western Railways. I have practised as a Consultant Clinical Microbiologist / Infection Prevention Control Doctor at a various NHS Hospitals in UK. Currently I work as an Associate Professor in Pathology at a private medical school attached to Bond University, Gold coast and a Staff Specialist-Clinical Microbiology at Queensland Health, Australia. I am privileged to have worked in both high and low economic resource countries.Along with clinical, laboratory and administrative role, I combine scientific research and teaching to both medical and scientific fraternity. Being a clinical pathologist I endeavour to integrate basic medical sciences into clinical bedside practise, while delivering the medical curriculum. Teaching is my passion, locally and internationally. I enjoy teamwork with multi-disciplinary collaboration.
