Biography
Dr. Li received his B.S. in Mathematics from Wuhan University in China and Ph.D. in Computational Biology from CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. Currently, he works at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Having a background in Mathematics and Computational Biology, he mainly focuses on developing bioinformatics and computational tools to analyze cancer genomic and proteomic data. Dr. Li has developed several bioinformatics tools such as SurvNet (Nucleic Acids Research, 2012) and TCPA (Nature Methods, 2013).
Research Interest
Identification of network-based biomarkers, network enrichment analysis, integrative analysis of cancer genomic and proteomic data.
