Biography
Dr. Chang is currently a postdoctoral research scholar at Department of Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine. He has received his B.S. and M.S. degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing and his PhD degree in metabolic syndrome and diabetes from The University of Hong Kong. He also received 4-year training of cardiovascular medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital at Boston during his PhD study
Research Interest
Cellular and molecular mechanisms controlling central nervous system (CNS) angiogenesis and blood-brain barrier integrity and their implications in pathologic conditions including brain tumor and stroke. He is also interested in stem cell biology and molecular connections between obesity and diabetes, cardiovascular complications
