Biography
Dr Tran is currently a Senior Research Engineer at the National Energy Technology Lab of the US Department of Energy and an Adjunct Professor of Thermal Sciences of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Material Science of the University of Pittsburgh. His research and teaching during the past 25 years have been mainly in the areas of combustion, laser ignition, laser ablation, nanomaterials, nanofluids and nanofuel slurries. He has published more than 100 journal papers and served as a member of the editorial board of various international journals.
