Characterization of Staphylococcus Aureus Carriage Among Asymptomatic Individuals in the Republic of Congo

Among 175 adults examined, 39 (22%) were colonized with S. aureus. Of these, 29/39 (74%) were nasal carriers, 6/39 (15%) were oropharyngeal carriers and 4/39 (10%) were dual carriers.
